I should have tried out for gifted in 7th grade when we moved rather than waiting until 8th grade. I made it for 10th grade. I went to a Catholic junior high, which doesn't have gifted, and I had no idea I'd be allowed and recommended to go to a public school. The gifted program doesn't have many people but is considered a big difference.
I should have tried out for Talented Theater and dance team. I backed away from dance team using my mom's mom visiting as an excuse. My mom got me some things on drama when we moved but for some reason said it seemed busy for me, though it wasn't. I should have started it before moving and quit the piano.
I should have taken singing lessons instead of just piano. Or, I should have been a cheerleader, which in some junior high schools is once a week. The other option is to take dance class, and I think I should and could have done both.
